DS Automobiles recently launched its latest model, the new DS4, in the Kingdom. It arrives on the compact segment in the guise of a crossover with many arguments that should not leave fans of the genre insensitive.
It is first of all with a great distinction that the new DS4 fully began its commercial career. It was elected “Most beautiful car of the year 2022”, winning the favors of the jury against serious contenders including the BMW i4, the Citroën C5X and the Peugeot 308. Not bad for the high-end French brand. range of Stellantis which intends to jostle with the competition, in particular German, and to ensure that in the case of the DS4, it can constitute a good alternative to models like the Audi A3 Sportback, the BMW 1 Series, or the Mercedes A-Class.
Rather reduced glazed surfaces, muscular shoulders and bodywork with protruding edges; one thing is certain, it is that this new DS4 clearly displays its difference compared to its potential rivals, if only on the aesthetic level. And it really does not go unnoticed in the flow of traffic.

Other aesthetic details are flattering to the naked eye, such as the front light signature with attractive, very slim “DS Matrix Led Vision” headlamps, accompanied by Led daytime running lights on each side. Flush door handles accompany sculpted surfaces on the sides. As at the rear, a new light signature appears.
All the versions of the new DS4 available in the Kingdom have specific optional aesthetic elements allowing the machine to be configured as desired. Thus the “Performance Line” finish offers black exterior inspiration with a black pack (DS Wings, bar between taillights, grille and side window frames) and characteristic black rims. As for the “Trocadero” finish, it inherits a panoramic sunroof, 19-inch “Firenze” rims and its “Matrix Full Led” headlamps.

As for the DS 4 “Trocadero Cross” version, it plays on the visual perception of an SUV with treatment of the lower part of the bumpers highlighted by specific protection and a matte black tint. Additionally, gloss black side window upper frames, gloss black grille, distinctive 19-inch wheels, body-coloured roof rails and headliner complete the package.
On board, the know-how of the French manufacturer does not go unnoticed. Rare wood species, specific carbon, brown ash wood decorations or making of the leather-wrapped steering wheel… the master saddlers have gone a little further in integrating French know-how. Clearly, there is no shortage of high-end materials and the care given to the finishes is clearly unprecedented. Note the presence of an original ventilation system with camouflaged vents. We also notice a new distribution of commands grouped into three interaction zones, to facilitate the experience, according to the brand.

Under the hood, the brand’s importer has chosen to bring back the 1.5 diesel with 130 horsepower powered by an 8-speed automatic transmission.
